A HUGE £3.5billion theme park that is being dubbed “the UK’s Disneyland” will be open to visitors by 2022.
The Paramount theme park will be built in Dartford, Kent, by Paramount film studios who make Hollywood movies like Zoolander, Anchorman and Mission Impossible.
It’s thought that the huge theme park could attract up to 40,000 visitors a day.
They will be able to ride on an estimated 50 attractions inspired by Paramount films, as well as shows from the BBC and Aardman Animations, who made Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep. There are no concrete plans for what rides will be built yet, but zones mooted for the site include Adventure Isle, Land of Legends, Cartoon Circus, Starfleet Command, Action Square, Port Paramount and Entertainment City.
