Moving up to the second floor, you’ll find another charming double bedroom with a brass bed, an airy twin bedroom with sea, harbour and Whitby Abbey views plus there is also a pretty single bedroom. This floor has a shower room with shower, basin and WC.

Catch the sun and pause a while in the paved front courtyard garden complete with table and chairs.

The area is well served with a wide range of convenience and specialist shops immediately on hand. Spend a day on sandy West Cliff beach or enjoy delicious, freshly caught seafood or award-winning fish and chips.

Should you wish to explore further afield, the stunning Yorkshire coast has something for everyone. From quaint fishing villages, such as Staithes, to surfing at Sandsend. The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
