Very charming town with a beautiful ceramics museum.
Very charming town with a beautiful ceramics museum. We enjoyed walking up the narrow cobbled streets and the views of the valley and mountains offered from the different vantage points. The olive oil museum was recommended to us but was not open while we were there.

A small Italian village that does not see many tourists. Visit the ceramic museum and walk the steep narrow streets of the old town area — many photo opportunities. You are just a short drive from the sea, or to the high Gran Sasso mountains.

We didn't go far enough into the old town to find parking, which apparently is free. Make sure you walk to its heart. We left too soon, and didn't realise what a beautiful old town it was untill driving away from it.

He’s done the check-in at 4 am, as our flight had to be diverted to Rome and we got in Loreto Aprutino 6 hours delayed. Franco (the owner) was such a sweetheart and helped us to get to the property, and kept messaging us asking if everything was ok. For antipasti: cold meats cured on the premises. Homemade pasta served with sauces of the freshest seasonal vegetables. Then an excellent selection of meat courses, cooked to perfection.

The hotel is a magnificant historical building that teleports you 200 years back with nice patio from which you have a overview of the italian landscape. It is just fabulous.
