Needs a thorough clean/dusting. I only used the one bedroom, one with the view, a lot of dust especially in bathroom and there seems to be a problem with mould in some areas. I know this is difficult to sort but really cleaner should have sprayed those areas. I was a landlord myself for 30 years. Think one dishwasher tablet was a little mean. I did I enjoy my stay a very convenient location and the views.

The cottage has everything you could possibly want in terms of comfort and cleanliness and some lovely extras provided by the ownerswhich were gratefully recieved! I was on my own with my dog for most of the week so lots of rest and relaxation. The only slight downside is the cloeness to the main road and had to be careful that the dog didnt escape! At present I'm walking with a stick and didt find dog walking from the cottage very easy but that said there are lovely beaches a short drive away which suited us fine ! The owners have obviously spent a lot of thought into making the property a lovely place to stay.

The selling point online was the view of the strait from the main bathroom, which is wonderful. The shower is very good. The beds are comfortable. Owner is very helpful, sorting out WI-FI password for us. Wecloming Prosecco and cake Disappointing things: Soiled furnishings, window seat cover and armchair covers Towels have a dirty smell, despite us machine washing them Broken light pull in bathroom Dead insects in bathroom Cobwebs around blinds in sitting room Rusty radiator Scuffed skirting Dirty floor around Bath Dirty windows inside and out The cottage could be amazing with more attention to detail. It definitely isn't worth the £950 + we spent for 5 nights. It promises a bit of luxury but doesn't deliver this. Our first vist to Angelsey was beautiful despite the wind and rain. Unfortunately it will be remembered for a very disappointing stay at Glan Dwr Bach and we will not be recommending it to friends and family, sorry.
