What To Consider Before Buying a Kid’s Picnic Table
How durable is it?
The picnic table and chairs should be strong and durable enough for kids to sit at and play on. From eating to playing, you want something which will stand the test of time.
Wood and polyethylene are the most durable materials, although wood will need to be maintained. Plastic is also maintenance-free and easy to keep clean.
Is it safe?
Make sure you teach kids to sit on the chairs and not stand on the table for their own safety. Check the age range/ weight limit of the furniture and replace when your child outgrows it.
Is it portable?
If you are planning on using the picnic table solely in your garden, then you may want to opt for a more permanent/ heavier style wooden picnic bench or set. If you would prefer to take it from place to place e.g. camping or indoors, then a foldable set would be more desirable.
