Tinker – Underground Hideaway (Cornwall)

In the depths of coastal Cornwall, Tinker joins two enchanting showman’s wagons with a 17th century underground bothy via a secret passageway. The living area and kitchen is housed in the bothy, which links seamlessly with the two wagons that house the bedroom and bathroom. Frequented by honeymooners, this spellbinding sanctuary has everything you need for an idyllic retreat: from your own private two-person hot tub, to a fairy-tale-like meadow garden with sundowner and fire pit.

Fairy House (Wales)

Gorgeous glamping in Wales at Fairy House, a delightful hobbit house. Only 15 minutes from Hay on Wye.

Extremely well reviewed with 465 verified guests giving it 4.8 out of 5.

“A really quirky place to stay! Read the description as it is as described. It is essentially glamping but very comfortable, the bathroom in the house is spotless and modern and the stove is handy to cook things. I would recommend!”

Built right in to the hillside and adorned with grassy roofs and round doors, a stay in Bagend Hobbit Howf will transport you to a magical world of Lord of the Rings where time stands still.

A magical stay in total seclusion; a wee house ( howf) like nothing ever experienced before with wood carved fittings and ‘decoration’. Definitely more ‘glam’ than camping. A huge cast iron bath, wood burning stove with Prosecco and whisky awaiting arrival! The attention to detail, comfort and cleanliness is truly 5* . We are planning a revisit already.
