First photos of new £37m Yorkshire Theme Park (With 70 rides and themed rooms)

We’ve got the first pictures of Gulliver’s Valley set to open in Yorkshire during the spring of 2020.

Costing £37 million the new theme park is part of the Gulliver’s franchise in three other locations: Warrington, Milton Keynes and Matlock Bath.

Gulliver’s Valley Resort will feature a ‘fantastic selection of theme park rides, family accommodation and unique attractions’ across its huge 250-acre site.

The new park will include 70 new rides and attractions.

Of the five phases, phase one will open in spring 2020.

A Toy Land was also revealed

A two-storey indoor entertainment area, the size of 22 tennis courts, is being built as part of the first phase.

Phase one includes the Wild Western World.

Toy Land, Smugglers Wharf and a Lost Jurassic World, featuring a long water slide, are also being built.

On the 250 acres there will be a climbing centre, water play zone and an attraction known as the ‘Blast Area’.

The Blast Area, which features in their other parks, is where children can put their NERF gun skills to the test, shooting target ranges before entering the battle to shoot other opponents.

There will be accommodation on-site.

These will include a number of themed areas – such as pirates and princesses, and glamping.

It will be the largest park of the Gulliver resorts, with Gulliver’s Kingdom World being 60 acres and Gulliver’s Land being just 30 acres.

Gulliver’s Valley is located at the Pit House West site in Rotherham.
