There are some things we know we mustn’t carry on board an aeroplane any more.
Bottled water (over 100 ml) is the one most of us know about, yet somehow forget – then find ourselves draining away £2-worth of Buxton’s finest only minutes after we bought it from WH Smiths.
But here are some lesser-known items you must not carry on board an aeroplane in your hand luggage.
A Corkscrew
Tent pegs
More than one cigarette lighter
Soup (100ml+)
Sporting equipment
Musical instruments
Medicine (100 ml+)
Tools
Fireworks
Liquid decanted into lots of small bottles
Scissors (with blades over 6 cm)
Pen knife (with blade over 6 cm)
