Menorca with Kids – Tips and Recommendations

  • Take the kids to Lloc de Menorca, a small zoo where kids learn about the animals that live in Menorca. Expect to see goats, sheep, lemurs and some Australian species too. There’s also a kids play area and café here.
  • Visit Son Bou Beach, the longest beach in Menorca with fine sand and crystal clear water. The family-friendly beach is 2.5 km long and 50 meters wide.
  • The sea in Menorca is perfect for kayaking and perfect for beginners. This is a great option for older kids (swimmers over the age of 12).
  • Hire a car! The island is great to explore and you can visit some beautiful quieter coves too.
  • Visit Fort Malborough, an early 18th century fort built by the British and named after Sir John Churchhill – Duke of Malborough. There are lots of tunnels for the children to explore.
